In June 2000, the first BCTN/BRIC interactive prototype project began, bringing together a team from Bristols premier production and post production companies; Green Umbrella Limited, ArchimediaOnline, 4:2:2, Films at 59, nameless-uk and later, Bristol Screen Composers.

The team explored the potential possibilities of interactive television, bringing a new dimension to intriguing stories and stunning footage, creating the interactive broadband television prototype, "Living Europe Interactive".
