About

Electric December is an online digital advent calendar. These digital distractions are a gift from Bristol and reflect the digital creativity and talent resident in the city. Every day from 1 Dec you can plug in, boot up and unwrap a totally unique digital present counting down to Christmas.

Electric December seeks to introduce local community and education groups to professional media companies, and facilitate partnerships to produce new pieces of creative work for the web. These partnerships ensure that skills are pooled and shared and the world of creativity on the internet is revealed, explored and discussed.

This year sees contributors interpreting a theme of Connecting Bristol in response to the Government’s Digital Challenge.

This is the seventh year for Watershed's unique online advent calendar. Contributors include media companies, arts organisations, community groups, artists and educational organisations.
