Day 2

Aqua Bubble

First Light / Muck Primary School, Island of Muck

A girl who throws rubbish and steals boats is taught a lesson by the King of the Ocean himself when she lands in a bubble at the bottom of the ocean. A lovely film about the effects of pollution on the environment – remember, bag it and bin it!

Filmmaker Sam Firth worked with children from Muck Primary School to make this short film. Muck is a tiny island off the West coast of Scotland with a population of only forty people – there were ten children in the school last year. The children are surrounded by nature and naturally wanted to make a film about the environment and pollution – Aqua Bubble is the result! UK.
