Virtual Friends was made as part of the Dream TV project, managed by The Forge and facilitated by Arpeggio Films and Positive Activities for Young People, Durham County Council. Young people from two youth projects in County Durham explored the themes of identity and aspiration through film. The idea for this film came about when the young people were discussing how easy it is to “be someone else” online, which in turn tapped into the e-safety debate. UK.
