Testing

This year we are introducing a testing page to allow you to see your present-in-progress as it would appear inserted into the Electric December 2006 pop-up window. You can find it here: www.electricdecember.org/06/test

Contributor chat

As suggested at the last ED workshop, we have now set up an e-mail chat list which you can subscribe to by going to http://lists.electricdecember.org/listinfo/chat

It’s only for those who are interested – it’s not essential to join but it may be a useful resource for exchanging ideas, software skills, seeking some 'extras' for filming or finding someone to help out with design or technical issues. But please remember to let me know if you have a problem that doesn't get solved here, and for all ED enquiries and updates on progress you’ll still need to mail to electricdecember@watershed.co.uk please. We are not responsible for any discussions that appear on this list and the list won’t be moderated on a regular basis – views expressed on this list won’t necessarily be those of the ED team.

Workshops

Workshop One: 6pm, Tuesday 27 June, Waterside 1 / Watershed

This session is all about developing your idea and plannning the next steps.

We cover storyboarding, choosing the right technology and planning for the best results.

Workshop Two: 6.30pm, Thursday 21 September, Waterside 1 & 2 / Watershed

Please bring a prototype / rough cut / stills of your present whatever stage you are at.

Showing your work so far to other contributors is a valuable way of improving your present.
Technical advice will be on hand to help look at any problems. An essential workshop.

Deadline: Wednesday 11 October 2006

You must deliver the final version of your present, completed contributor forms and a press image.
If you miss this deadline, we may not be able to feature your contribution.
Of course, if anything is ready earlier we'll be delighted to have it!
